My name is Cory. I Just signed up today. I really dig Robert's melodic bluesy style and the way he teaches so I thought I'd give the full membership a try. I'm 33. Live in Dallas, Texas. Known how to play since I was 11, but only got serious the last couple of years. I really want to play in a top 40 party/ wedding band and make a partial living doing so. I play mainly Eric Johnson strats through a vintage 65 twin. But like all of us, I have a ton of gear. I love the feel of the e.j necks. I look forward to expanding my vocabulary with all of you. The triads are what sold me on Robert's teaching. Below are some links to my playing. Since Robert is a big hendrix fan like myself, I thought I'd post those. One has a bad camera angle. Cheers!

Hi Cory, thanks for joining! You play great! The 2nd youtube link appears to be broken, however.
I hope you find some good material that you can learn from. There will be more arpeggio exercises coming soon.
Thank you Robert. I very much look forward to learning new things from you. The other link should work now. I had the settings wrong.

Sorry still figuring out how the site works.
Red House!
Nice, man! Very nice!
What pedal did you use into your Twin?
It's called cusack screamer fuzz. It's the first version that is silver. I saw it on Robert Randolphs lap steel rig and it sounded great, so I had to give it a try. I was able to find one on reverb for a decent price. The other video is a landgraff dynamic overdrive. I was fortunate enough to aquire that one from a friend. Thank you again for all that you do! Greatly appreciated. I'm psyched.
Cory... Welcome to MGA. Sounds like you have some great gear. There's lots of material in here to explore and check out. Enjoy it. BTW Excellent playing on the YTs...
Nice stuff man, you got the groove goin' right there!
