Hello all, Im Glen from Mansfield, MA. Im still pretty much a noob, though Ive been "playing" since the late 70s. Now that Im 49, looking towards (and forward to!) retirement, Ive realized how much Ive missed playing. My dad bought my brother and I an Aria Pro 2 and a Holmes amp way back in 78-79. The amp is still with us, but the Aria was lent out to my brothers "friend" who of course was "down on his luck" and pawned it. I made myself feel better by locating a 1989 Fender Strat Plus Deluxe in Crimson Frost, kept the Wilkinson nut and locking tuners, ditched the Lace Sensors and locked the bridge, and Im very much in love again. (Im going to find an Aria Pro 2 to honor my dad tho, I loved that thing!). Anywho, sorry for the long winded hello, Im happy to be here!
Glen
Welcome Glen.
You're in the right place to brush up on all your guitar aspirations. Looking forward to hearing more from you.
Enjoy!
Welcome to MGA you picked the right web site. Robert's lesson are excellent and his followers are super friendly and knowledgeable too. Learning music has come a long way since the 70's...so get ready to see your playing really improve.
Hi Glen, welcome to MGA! What music are you into?
Hey welcome, from a fellow New Englander. I'm a bit north of you in southern NH. We're not exactly close enough to stop by for coffee but it is still nice to see other New Englanders getting on board.
Lots of good material to wade through here. I hope you are able to achieve all of your musical goals... including getting an Aria Pro 2
Mansfield- Somewhere near the entry point for Providence Quakers who kept invading Puritan Theocracy of The Massachusetts Colony! Oh, those Puritans whipped and dragged their protestors around the towns and then kicked them out again.
Welcome to the MGA. Tis a cool place to sharpen your skills and make some great friends.
Welcome Glen!
Welcome Glen,
Greetings from Barcelona
