Hello. My name is Phil and I live in music-rich Marin County. I am 75 years old, took up folk guitar when I was around 17. Played for years but mostly chords and folk songs. Recently I decided that in this lifetime I wanted to play blues electric guitar. I've been taking lessons but I have learned as much or more from YouTube videos. Decided that a great way to supplement my weekly lessons was to find one really good on line teacher. And after watching a lot of them I decided to sign on here. Last week I bought a PRS Custom 24SE in Whale Blue and I love the way it feels, looks, plays and sounds.
Hi Phil, warm welcome to you! I am honoured that to chose MGA!
PRS make fine guitars.
Enjoy MGA and remember the forum is our friendly hangout place. We're all in this together, ay!
Phil, you definitely chose the right instructor to supplement your efforts in Marin County. Here, as with your instructor at home, participation, sharing ideas, and submitting performances are key to growth.
I'm not far from Annapolis and the Eastern Shore grounds of PRS. I congrats on the Custom 24 SE, I Love the quality, feel and tone diversity of mine. Versatile and easy.
