Dunlop Max Grip! I've progressed to the thicker picks once my accuracy improved, but in any thickness these are really helpful when things get slippery. Now that's not to say I'm "accurate" as I think of myself as a throw it against the wall and see what sticks player. But thinner picks seemed more forgiving to my unnecessary use of force as a novice.
@clayton , with the knowledge that you have "progressed to the thicker picks" I encourage you to look at V -Picks. Lots of guys that I idolize use them, swear by them including Santana, Billy Gibbons, Orianthi, Joe Walsh. I've tried a lot of different picks and keep going back to V Picks. It seems when I really want to dig in and make some noise I use his "Screamer" and most of the rest of the time I am using some version of his "Tradition" lite or Ultra Lite. They are grossly over-priced! He does have some starter kits to try them.
I have my favourite picks. The most recent is the Dunlop Primetone 2.5 mm.
My other favourites are V-Picks and the Super Blacks Cocktail Picks - fantastic feel in these ones. Made by an old friend of mine in Japan - https://hellparts.com/super-blacks-picks.html
Man, with those V Picks I look like a tea totaler. Oh, noo, that's too strong for me. Earl Grey please.
The picture I posted is Hell Superblacks. They are not made by V-Picks. They are made in Hell. 😀 haha

I tried to order some but they're out of stock. I guess hell froze over LOL.

I guess so! 🤣 I tried to order some also.
Well there are also unfortunate issues with shipping from Japan. They suspended air mail to many countries and it's still not back to normal. The Ukraine war has affected the situation too I heard. It should be getting better soon.
@Clayton, quite by accident I found on the internet CLAYTON USA guitar picks. Have you ever tried this brand? I’m just saying, name obliges.
And by the way, if you ever find „BIRGIT CH guitar picks“ let me know 😉.

@bluesiline I do have a couple of Clayton brand picks! Not for anything special but because they run a number of novelty sets with the Clayton name brandished on them along with the limited run images, such as 1940's hula and tropicana girls, the screaming horrified girl, and the American Eagle 🦅 badge. Just fun with the name.
My daughter gave me custom picks from Etsy. It was a set with family pictures printed on them. Pretty cool.
And since the mother of pearl was obscuring the girl.
