I'm Larry, 70 yrs old, I'd say I'm a late beginner. I've been taking music lessons for a few years . I've also purchased a few of Robert's lesson in the past so I'm familiar with him a little. I finally decided to take the plunge. I'm learning on a Classical CutAway, Nylon String (learning Finger style), I also have a Epiphone ES-175, that I will be using for MGA.
My music choice favorites are: 1. Blues, 2. Smooth Jazz, 3. Flamenco, 4. New Age, just to name a few. I hope to learn some Killer Blues here.
At 70, you're still younger than most of the Rock Gods! Welcome to the MGA, study, practice, play, and post an effort or two.
Whereabouts, in the the Great State of Texas are Ye?
Larry
Welcome to MGA! You have just a couple years on me. Sounds like you will keep your hands busy learning classical guitar and blues guitar. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun for you!
Hi Larry, thanks for signing up! I have lots of blues material here, and I would like to do some smooth jazz lessons too in the future. No Flamenco though, that's way too hard for me!
The ES-175 is a sweet axe. Would love to hear you play.
