Hi Everybody,

My name is Luca, I'm from Italy, I am 57 years old.

I always had a dream in my life, that is to learn to play guitar: I always thought not to be able to do that and not to be enough talented to do so.

Then, a couple of years ago, I said to myself "now or never!".

I am now a low-level intermediate player, but to play guitar has become a big passion! I try to play/exercise almost every day, for one or two hours at least.

I have private lessons once a week from a professional teacher and  I follow several youtuber/teachers also, trying to go deeper in the things I am learning. That is the way I learned about Robert Renman: I liked very much some free lessons on youtube, and here we are now.

My passion is learning the blues!

Rock on,

Luca

Ciao, Luca!

Welcome to the MGA- we have a lot of players passionate about the Blues.  You are in good company.  Use the Forum to stay active, ask questions, listen to recordings and maybe post your own playing.

Where are you in Italia?

Ciao Clayton,

thanks for the warm welcome, I'm from Milan!

Everything is new to me at the moment but to be here sounds grate!

I have a Strato and a Tele, and one acoustic from Taylor.

🙂

Nice gear:. Love all those guitars.

I bicycled Lombardy in 2017, ending at Lago de Como, climbing to Ghisallo. Bella, Bella.

Welcome Luca! Great to have you here. A great way to get started is to share a clip of you playing something (when you are ready). It’s something I talk about a lot, because I know how much it helps a player.

I would like to go to Sicily and see my mothers side of the family and venture into northern Italy and meet some of my fathers side .  I have friend there in Italy who has a guitar website and he's checked out some things for me about my parents  family history, but now I really don't know about overseas traveling. Age caught up with me.

Welcome to the site.
