hello everybody! I took my first guitar lesson in the sixth grade, kept at it for a few years, and then took a 30 year + break. I have an addiction to learning, so often start something and then move on to something else. Am hopeful that the resources, progress trackers, etc on this site will keep me on a somewhat structured path.
When it comes to music my approach has been too formulaic, and I am looking to attain a higher level of competence with blues improvisation
two Takemine acoustics and a Fender Strat
happy to be here!
Frisco, Texas?? Where the heck is Frisco, TX!!!??
😎
Jim in Denton, TX
surely you jest my neighbor...
everybody knows that Frisco is the fastest growing city in the US, first rate schools, lots of fine dining options and of course the home of America’s team the Dallas Cowboys
exactly like Denton. Only different
I do of course!! My sister-in-law and brother-in-law live and work in Plano so we go through Frisco all the time plus we generally wind up purchasing our new Hondas at your dealership there because they come in thousands less than the one here in our city!! Robert has at least one Texas sized blues course here on MGA plus............and even cooler "Texas Twister" lesson on his Blues Booster course he made for TrueFire.com!! I've been intrigued with Texas Blues even before SRV so I'm certainly in my element here!! Perhaps we both can convince Robert to entertain us with even more Texas Blues lessons in the near future!!?? Jim C.
Hey Joe! Where are you going with that guitar in your hand!?
Frisco was soda pop in Sweden. It was very fruity. 🙂
Welcome to MGA! Hope you will feel right at home.
U beat me to this one, Clayton!! Also: It was a rainy night down in Frisco..............

All these obscure song lyrics (maybe not THAT obscure) crack me up.
PS: I left my Strat with Joe in Frisco...
Don't forget the classic "Frisco Duck" and "Frisco Inferno (Burn that Mutha Down)"
