Hi everyone,
My name is Charles and I have been playing the guitar for 3 years now. It's not been easy with work and everything. But I enjoy learning!
I have been with my second guitar teacher for a year now, and I also have been going through a udemy course by Ross Campbell which I have almost finished.
I started off learning from Texas Blues Alley initially, but learnt a lot from Roberts you tube videos. Once I learnt music theory a lot of things became a lot clearer and easier to understand lol.
So here I am ready to take things to the next level.
I'm a huge fan of SRV, Albert King, Freddie King, Eric Clapton, Peter Green and all things blues. Including classic rock .
Oh, and I own a Epiphone Tribute plus sunburst, which is my baby. Sorry I can't afford a Gibson...too poor lol
Hey Charles, thanks for joining!
I hope you will enjoy the material I have. Always working on making things better.
What I preach the most is record yourself and share with us. Student Focus is a great thing to do. See https://www.masterguitaracademy.com/course/student-focus/
Thanks Robert, is there a way to record myself quietly through a computer?
There are many ways you can record yourself. The easiest is probably to use a smart phone or tablet and let it record what its hearing. As an example, bring up a track on the computer and play it back. Jam along with your guitar and amp at a suitable volume level and have the smartphone record it.
If that won't work for you, give me more details on your gear and what you would like to accomplish.
