Hi Everyone. First day on the site. Watched some of Robert's YouTube videos and really loved his style. Seems really chill. Felt joining MGA would be a good fit for me. I took lessons, years ago, from Marty Friedman (Megadeth), and Marty was great. He had a lot of patience, which was great, as I needed a lot of that. LOL. I have an Ibanez RG655, PRS CE24, Gibson Explorer, Fender Strat, and a 1979 Guild S300-D. A few Amps too: Marshall Code, Fender Mustang, and Line 6 Spyder. Favorite styles are Rock and Blues. Like most people, I have a lot of guitarists I like: Michael Schenker, Rory Gallagher, Gary Moore, Peter Green, Angus Young, Billy Gibbons, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, George Lynch, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, etc. etc. Looking forward to exploring the site and learning as much as I can.
Welcome tp MGA. I'm sure you will find plenty of great playing and friendly folks.
It sounds like you already have the gear and motivation.
Have fun
Welcome, that's a great list of influences!
Hello, welcome aboard and thank you for your introduction.
You have lots of guitars at home! And seems that you have a lot of energy for expanding your repertoire here at MGA.
I would like to express a wish: Could you share some of your newly learned songs with us here on the forum? That would be great 😊.
Enjoy checking out, learning and playing,
Birgit
I'll second that request from @Bluesiline, please post a recording or two of any practice, project, or other music you create. Sharing efforts, good and not so perfect helps members.
Which Mustang amp? I'm still attached to my Mustang III v.2, and use it quite regularly in jams with my funky drummer sessions. Light, Loud, and Versatile.
A very and warm welcome. And have a great time here! 👍
Welcome Axe, what should we call you?
Nice gear! Hoping to hear some picking from ya.
