Gidday from down under. Really excited to get into some magic. Have been putting it off for 40 years.
Self taught through jamming with more experienced folk, yet feel the need for proper direction.
Robert feels like a really compassionate dude with a LOT of experience and talent. Just love his style.
I play many styles, but love the blues!(Clapton, Freddie King, JJ Cayle, and on and on) Love open tuning (Rye Cooder, Bob Brozman, Stones(tee hee)).and finger picking as well as rock style electric. (Zeppelin, Floyd, Santana) I have a Suhr Strat and An AMPEG reverbarocket as well as a Gibson 73 Les Paul and a Squier Telecaster that has been "hotdogged".
I also have a Maton 75 12 string acoustic, a Martin DC1e acoustic, A cheap Record King resonator ( not too bad actually) and various other stringed instruments.
I love to creatively jam and improvise with other muso's and would say that I have an average talent.
Peace, Craig.
Welcome to MGA Craig.
Looking forward to hearing some of your blues jam.
Enjoy!
Craig
Welcome aboard, you sure sound enthusiastic and you've got the gear. I think you'll have fun here.
Hey welcome Craig! Glad to have ya!
Maton - would love to try one of those. That's what Emmanuel plays, right?
Post some clips of you playing if you can! Remember I do Student Focus videos each month, if you have something you'd like me to give feedback on - this goes for everyone of course!
Thanks Robert,
So nice to personally hear from you. Yes Tommy Emmanuel does play a Maton, rather well IMO.
I will work up to posting a vid soon!!!!!
Gidday, Wobbly Bob! Welcome to the MGA. I know we have a few men who thunder here; looking forward to hearing your style.
Thanks Chris, this seems like a really lovely bunch.
