Dear friends and colleagues,
My name is Esteban. I am from Barcelona, Spain.
Let me start explaining that as many of you, I began to play guitar when I was 13 years old. I started playing all Sundays morning in church what it was so helpful to play in front of non complain audience. Later, I played in several bands in the meantime attended some courses and lessons in non official academies….But when you are 18 or 20, patience and maturation (and hormones, of course) is not the best peculiarity, so it was my personal crossroad, and I had to decide between my professional career, chemistry or music….at that moment, no option and I stopped playing guitar.
A few years ago, around 2009, my old friends told me that they were back playing. Also my brother Jordi showed me some youtube video lessons by a guitar instructor called Robert Renman in a web page named www.dolphinstreet.com. This was the beginning of a new return and since then, many many lessons and courses.
In this link you can check my performance a few years ago….

But, in this new phase, I wanted to re-start with new motivation and I bought a new guitar. Many things had been changed in music and it was so difficult to chose a new guitar. Finally, I bought a second hand Suhr S3 Pro. It was a great guitar, but I was no confortable at all. Put a lot of money and that´s all?. No, I needed more. I wanted to learn a little bit more about this exciting instrument and I decided to attend a luthier course to build my own guitar. I booked a course in Ramos Guitars, a very good luthier and nice people from Barcelona and I built ‘Melody in Blue’. Immediately, to celebrate that Melody becomes my own signature guitar I composed a song, But after the first song, I started the second…the third…and now I have more than 10. So, I contacted my old friends, and started a new project called ’25 years ago’ . A now, I fully involved in recording this exciting project. You can follow in the next address:
I can explain more and more, but I do not want you to get bored. So, please, if you have any question or particular inquiry, do not hesitate to ask me……

Esteban, I hear you. Great licks on the Jump your Blues. Me, Biochemistry, protein structure function. What is your molecular speciality beside the guitar?
Wow, Esteban posting recording waaaay back in 2012! That was a blast from the past. Brother you always set a great example of discipline and passion.
Chris, I am happy to hear your post and comments. A big hug my friend.
Blufly, nice to talk to you...Blues, rock I am always inspired with this music. But I love so much the most classics, from Muddy Waters, Albert King to Gary More or Joe Bonamassa....and of course Tab Benoit.
Clayton, this morning I recorded for you 'Jump your Blues'. A revisited version, long time ago from my first performance. Not so easy in a single run. This is what remains......hope you like it, but as usual critics, comments and suggestions are warm welcome.
