Hi I’m 63 years old i played guitar from when i was 15.  Got married at 20 stopped playing for a while.

started again at 35. Had to stop again started  My business had no time, but always had a room for beautiful guitars hanging like art. So i picked up again and found this course hoping it could help me understand and play again.  I grew up with the blues, greats Bloomfield, Clapton,Vaughn, page, b.b Albert king to name just a few and rock country rock. I hoping to get enough out of this to learn the licks and understand them. I do have thicker fingers and to me always seemed a problem with some playing on the fret board hope this course can help

Hi Bigvin, welcome to MGA!

I do have a lot of licks and material on the site, so I think you are going to learn a few things.

The forum is also an important part of the site, where members share their playing and knowledge, and ask questions and provide feedback. We are here for you.

Big Vin, a classic NYC handle, and an cool addition to our collective here at the MGA.  I especially liked the inclusion of Bloomfield in your influences, that's not one we hear too often, but definitely deserves recognition.  Let us know what kind of wall art and end tables you have to form your craft.

Welcome, and please jump into the action.  MGA Forum is a place to try your craft and learn from others through sharing recordings and participation in some of the Jams, lesson submissions, and student focus videos.  And it is a level field of respect for every player's efforts, goals and contributions.

Hey there BigVin, you've come to the right place. The key to rapid progression is recording your self as often as possible. Sharing your skills and getting feedback is good too. Very supportive team here. Welcome!😆
