I've been using Windows Movie Maker for editing videos. This program, however, is no longer supported my Microsoft since January of this year and I have since lost it.

I've been looking on line and there's a ton of them out there, but I'm always skeptical about downloading software.

Anyone know of any alternatives available out there that they're using? I'm not looking for anything on a professional level. Just basic, easy to use software for amateurs.

Thanks.

I tried Videopad but once the free trial finished what you were left with was something that didn't offer very much. I would have bought that but I finished up buying Cyberlink Power Director as it was cheaper. There may be better applications but it's done everything I want  so far.

Adobe Premiere Elements if you can afford it. Robert does a very nice job with this software.

I'm currently using Camtasia2 and finally bit the bullet and bought the upgrade to Camtasia3. Like it a lot.

Thanks Dan. I'll look into this one also.

Are any of you guys using this:  http://www.videosoftdev.com/free-video-editor

I know Robert likes to have us submit a video, but I don't know the first thing about video recording or editing.

This review seems to be what I maybe looking for.
