It's actually not a midi controller. It interfaces directly with the youtube player, via a browser extension. Pretty cool! I really like this for learning off of youtube - so nice to have full control with your feet.

Just use Chrome or Safari any time you are learning on youtube - problem solved!

That's cool, thanks Sandie! I find it really helpful when learning from youtube videos - makes it so easy to FOCUS on the parts of the video you are interested in. Looping and slowing down - that's a killer way to learn. I can usually learn really fast and easily a lot of times, but there are times when my ears can't keep up, if the tempo is too fast. Then this baby goes to work for me! 🙂

The Vidami is very simple to use. I'm already using it on a video of Wes Montgomery playing Windy. How cool is that! 🙂 Thanks for telling me about the Vidami pedal. It has opened up a whole new way of learning for me. Very cool!
