Most of you probably remember the discussion we had about Song Surgeon. To be accurate it was a thread we had about Transcribe that digressed to a discussion about Song Surgeon.
I use Song Surgeon quite a lot. If I didn't use my eBand JS-10 to slow down audio most of the time I would use Song Surgeon a lot more. In fact, there is no doubt if I didn't have my JS-10, I would use Song Surgeon daily. It is a great product. The thing I find remarkable is one can slow down songs to very slow without the audio distorting. But slowing audio down is just one of the many helpful learning tools SS offers.
If you are considering purchasing it and have questions on it, ask. If I don't know the answer Chris @jestme, who also uses it, will.
Thanks for the vote of confidence Ron! 😉
I know you use SS [And Video Surgeon if I am not mistaken] a lot and know a lot about them. I think Robert, would also be a 'Master' with SS. Still if I can be helpful I certainly will try, between us we should be able to field some questions.
SS definitely is helpful with learning songs, solos, bass lines... by ear.
