Thanks for the link. This'll be a fun place to spend some time...
I hope you find a great deal...
PS there are 3 PRS guitars on there!
So obviously you have spent more time on there than I, Chris! Because I didn't see any PRS'. lol Picked out the 2 or 3 or 4 you're bidding on?
Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, please put a penny in the old man's hat
If you haven't got a penny, a ha-penny will do, if you haven't got a ha-penny, God bless you.

Hmmm can't say ... I don't want any additional competition to my bids!!! No actually I used the search and found 3 PRS beauties! I thought you might be interested in them!!!
BTW My PRS is in the shop getting the frets leveled and dressed. Apparently I have worn them down enough to be problematic... So I am strumming my Strat and loving it all over again. If you don't play them for a while it's almost like getting a new guitar when you do!!!
Dang you Chris! I went back and looked and found them. I am actually slightly, very slightly, thinking about this one. I think it's fairly gorgeous and I also think it is fairly priced. Scarily so. And it should be light.
I picked up my Gibson 325 a couple months ago and I can't put it down. It and my PRS are all I play. When I bought my 325 I played it a lot of course. Then the newness wore off and I didn't play it much. Now I'm in love with it again.
I'll bet I haven't picked up my Strat in 5 months. I don't know why.
That is a really sweet guitar. In fact, if I were to bid, which I'm not, I would bid on that very guitar.
Did you catch the blurb about the "Buyer's Premium" which looks like a 25% increase in your bid? That sounds pretty unusual so if you think of bidding be aware of it.
Having said that, there is no reserve and the price does look pretty good... at least at this moment!
Good luck.
Chris, if you decide you want to bid on it let me know. As I said, I am only very mildly interested. I'll back off. If I decide to go forward there are, fortunately, 10 days before the close of bidding to do a lot of domestic pr work.
And, yes, I need to figure out what that "Buyers Premium" is. If you don't pay for the "premium" they will destroy the guitar in shipping?!?!
Oh I won't be bidding on it. The gear budget is pretty flat at the moment AND it's getting cold out... I like sleeping indoors! I also just bought myself a new truck!
Thanks for being such a gentleman with your offer to back off. If you decide to go for it, I hope you are able to get it. It will keep your other PRS good company!
I suspect the BP "Buyer's Premium" is a way to get more cash into the deal! 25% is a lot of premium.
Chris, I'm not going to bid anyway. I posted over at the PRS forum and found out an Archtop is quite a bit larger and slightly heavier than a PRS Hollowbody I or II, which is what I am really looking for.
If I didn't care about weight this is about the most gorgeous guitar I've ever seen.
Which PRS do you have?
Those PRS Forum folks know a lot more about the PRS lines than I do. I thought this was similar in size to other semi-hollow PRS guitars I have seen... more of a thinline than an archtop!
I have an S2 Mira Semi-hollow... so far! 😉 Not nearly as sexy as your PRS, which is gorgeous. I think yours is a "Paul". Am I correct?
Actually, at only $1,300 I had gotten domestic approval to bid on that archtop. I probably would have gone to $2,000 or so. But it ended up selling for $3,250! Now I wish that I had saved up my pr work. But maybe I have softened her up for down the road for something else? Who knows?

$3250... and the Buyers Premium!!! Better luck next time! It was an interesting auction, none the less. I wished you had gotten it.

Warm place to sleep in NH winters = Priceless
