Finally!! I got my slat boards up and the hangers attached. We moved into our present home a year ago July. Since then some guitars are out; some are in cases. I've been concerned but just kept procrastinating. A friend of mine, who is a professional painter, hung the slat boards on the wall in my man cave. They are all out of cases, on hangers. And the humidity is monitored. This is going to be so nice!!!!
If anyone is interested here they are, left to right:
1) Martin M-36
2) Gibson 325
3) PRS Santana
4) Fender Stratocaster
5) PRS Paul's (My favorite!!!)
6) Martin 000-15M
7) Seagull S6 Classic
8. PRS HB1
9) Yamaha Pacifica
10) Fender Telecaster
On the floor - PRS SE Santana
Wow, your guitars look like a real work of art on your man cave wall, Ron.
Really well done and a beautiful eye-catcher 👍.
Birgit
That looks great! I would like something that for my guitars.
Looks good...rather than hang mine I just keep them in stands...but then I only have 4 LOL
6) Martin 000-15M
Ron, that's a beautiful sight of all that six string Love. And I must confess I've had my eyes on a Martin 000-15M this year but won't let it happen til I've refined my thumb and finger skill. And, since I'm above Baltimore, I've decided that when the time comes, I'm headed to Nazareth, Pennsylvania (@ 90 minutes drive) to tour the Martin factory and then hit their local store to find The One for me.
@clayton my thumb and finger skill are far, really far, from being refined! It didn't stop me from getting the little Martin hog!!! 😉 I like it a lot. the Martin M-36 is probably a lot more versatile. I understand that's why a lot of Nashville session guys have it. But I really like the 15M.
I'm sure you know who Corey Congilio is. He has said the Martin factory tour is time really well spent. I forget what label Martin gives to guys that travel around and put on the Martin clinics. Whatever it's called; Corey is one 🙄 But Corey is also from that area and I get the impression it is not just Martin messaging; that it is a worthwhile tour.
