I'm not a fan of pedals that do a million tones. I prefer having several pedals where each sound unique.
You may be interested in Nanolog Audio pedals - they are from my neck of the woods and have used some pretty deep scientific methods to come up with their designs -
I may help them with some demos at some point - we talked about it at NAMM this year.
