Thanks!
Thanks Chris. I did the recording at soundtrap.com. I'm using a Chromebook and a Alpha Lexicon USB audio interface. My gear is:
Fender Strat
Marshall JTM 1 watt amp
TC Mini HOF Reverb
Keeley modified Ibanez Tube Screamer

Very Nice, you start out with The Essential Element, laying down the rhythm and feel for the tune. Don't fret about mistakes (I can't Shake em, they are just a part of my playing experience), but take the time to keep this in your reproitoire and play it as part of your background, warmup and noodling. Turn it inside out, play it 9 different ways and whatever falls out good in your fingers- This move is a fundamental Blues Rock Groove. Congratulations on adding this to your toolbelt! And thanks very much for sharing- we are all the better for it.
Thank you Clayton!
Nice work, Bill! Thanks for doing this. Now try to record something a few times per month, and you'll playing will improve faster than ever. Keep notes of your recording details too - gear, tone settings, mindset, how much you worked on the recorded piece, etc.
Thanks Robert! I will definitely do that. Sorry for making a mess of this thread. I finally realized I need to quote what I'm responding too.

Bill It looks like your new Chromebook has arrived and that it did the trick. Cool! Keep up the good work.

You're right Chris! Actually, I'm going to return it. I ordered a Dell XPS 15 Touchscreen. The Chromebook is nice but I really need a full fledged laptop. Thanks for noticing though. 🙂
