I love the feel of these Rhythm & Licks grooves...
Chris, I enjoyed R&L 3 because of its John Lee Hooker vibe, and frankly, a bit less challenging than R&L 2!
I love the idea of Rhythm & licks, in general... 2 bars of vocal and 2 bars of licks....
So perhaps the order should be 1 3 and 2...!
Suppose a Rhythm & Licks 4 won't hurt anyone?
Sure, bring it on.... R&L 4
Robert, it only hurts that you have to ask! (:}D)
Yessss, I use my R&L skills quite often.
Ok, here it goes...my first recording. I made a few mistakes. Please offer any suggestions or criticisms.

Hey Bill awesone job! Sounds like you're pretty comfortable and confident with your guitar.
Nice playing. Your tone and and mix sound great. Keep those R & L coming.
Thanks for sharing.
Right on Bill. You've got the things I'm still lacking, like keeping the rhythm. Keeps me working on it.
Good Job!
Bill - You did an excellent job in both playing and recording. It sounded awesome all around. Great tone as well. Well done!
Are you using your new recording gear? I wouldn't mind hearing about your set up... guitar, amp etc...
Very Nice, you start out with The Essential Element, laying down the rhythm and feel for the tune. Don't fret about mistakes (I can't Shake em, they are just a part of my playing experience), but take the time to keep this in your reproitoire and play it as part of your background, warmup and noodling. Turn it inside out, play it 9 different ways and whatever falls out good in your fingers- This move is a fundamental Blues Rock Groove. Congratulations on adding this to your toolbelt! And thanks very much for sharing- we are all the better for it.
Nice work, Bill! Thanks for doing this. Now try to record something a few times per month, and you'll playing will improve faster than ever. Keep notes of your recording details too - gear, tone settings, mindset, how much you worked on the recorded piece, etc.
Thanks Ivan!
Bill
