Dear Friends and colleagues,

Well, here we are once again. I worked a little bit more on this lesson.

I recorded a few more licks, 1 to 8. After checking I was aware that lick 8 is wrong. I will try to revise next time when adding a few more.

Hope you like it and as usual, critics, comments and suggestions are warm welcome.

Cheers,

Esteban

That sounds great Esteban!

Yes, I really like this lesson. Dittos on the other comments about jumping around. That's my problem. I never seem to master anything because I jump from one lesson to another.

That is great! A little bit different than I do it, but that is PERFECTLY FINE! It's not about the details in a solo like this. Make it your own - always. My licks are just the starting point from which you shall create your own magic! 🙂

I knew you would Be Considered a natural player on this lesson!  I love the way Doc plays the blues.

Now here's the question: Thumb and index finger; or thumb, index and middle finger?  I've had a tendency to use my fingers more than my thumb- let's be dig in and under the string for more bite on the note.

Esteban, that is outstanding playing- thank you so much for sharing!

Dear friends and colleague,

I little bit more work.

https://app.box.com/s/4rvujh0aslcb4ifx01kya56gc87toccg

I added one more single and punctual note between lick #1 and lick#2 that I called MGA note. This is for all of you that are supporting me. Hope you like it.

A lot work in front of me. Lick#2 requires a clear refinement....but step by step.

Hope you get funny and as usual, comments, suggestions and of course critics are warm welcome.

All the best my friends,

Esteban

Here's my first 12 bars of Reconsidering Blues. Not using my fingers.....that's a challenge for another time when I get it down relatively good with a pick.

Thanks for listening.

Word, Esteban!  That is the Word- extraordinary.  I really like the way your playing works over the difficult timing of this solo.  And, frankly, that's a lot of material to execute, Ivan.  Certainly shows a lot of work or the experience to get it down so quickly.   Keep singing those blues, "So, Long....."
