I love Eric Clapton's version of this Blues Classic: Reconsider Baby, which he recorded live in the studio with horns on From the Cradle. So, I had this course on my mind for a long time. I tried when Robert first published it, and just could not get it close to right.
Yesterday I revisited this course and got significantly closer to the vibe.

I will say that the Tonebridge app on my iPad really helped get the sound palate with some bite, reverb and a touch of delay.
Thanks, my friend. Can you tell us more about Tonebridge, perhaps in a separate thread?
@robert I wil start a thread about tonebridge. And now, just to bump the Reconsidering Blues course more, I took the time to watch your Gear Used video which provides nice gear information but the real extra value is in using the AB video feature to watch, listen, and try to mimic some of the licks you are playing to demonstrate sounds. YEP, another sit down here on the back porch with Robert and trade licks moment!

Yes, Clayton, what a great lesson and what a vibe. This is definitely too difficult for me, but it's one of my favorite songs and I’ve listened to Robert’s version so many times and I really love it.

Good lesson capturing the essence of what Clapton was doing...just got the first part and most of the second part down and then I'll work on Clapton's version...please do more ADVANCED blues! Thanks...
I will Reconsider This course! See what I did there?!?! Yeah, it was awful. Sorry.
@clayton I will look at it. I'm near finished with a lesson on Wonderful Tonight (one of TrueFire's new song lessons), primarily the rhythm part. Needing something next to work on but it still may be above my ability. I'll look.
Thanks.
@matonanjin Ron, funny you should mention a Truefire course and this lesson. I was back in working diligently on my McErlain In the Style of Billy Gibbons to help with my John Lee Hooker Boogie quest, and thought, "well, since I'm down here in G working thumb and fingers, I should get back to Robert's excellent Reconsidering lesson. That Gibbons course is so chock full if licks and insights.
And, I caved to the Guitar Pro 8 upgrade to help with speed building on licks and riffs. What is really a nice addition is the (THU)Overloud reverbs and other sounds you can get just plugging into Guitar Pro. Not my go to, but good sounds for use playing along in the app.
I have become such a delay, chorus and reverb user to juice up my sounds.
