Truefire asked me to do a rhythm guitar lesson for them and so I did.
Will be available Nov 26.
Super!!! And something for us to look forward to! Have you already shot it... or focus on what you will cover?
I love rhythm!
Fantastic News, Robert!!
That can serve as a springboard for further lessons.
Good luck for Nov 26, Robert!
Oh Dang!!!! Another TrueFire course I have to buy! 🤣 😉 😮
Kidding Robert. I'm sure this will be one of the course I actually start and probably finish! Looking forward to it.
Yes, I have already filmed the lesson and it's just a free, short lesson. Not a full course. Like a little (hopefully) inspirational tidbit. I am covering 3 different rhythm guitar approaches for a funky blues, although it will work over any kind of blues really. Except maybe for very slow blues tunes, I suppose.
Watching the clock with that rhythm teaser
@clayton Perhaps this'll help, Clayton?? In the mean time I'm not ashamed to make note that Roberto already has a great TrueFire course available now!! Blues Booster!! All great!! Jim C.
Looking forward to the lesson ... long or short, I'm sure it'll be enjoyable.
Jim, I can only agree with you.
I can highly recommend Robert's « Blues Booster ». It’s a really great course I’ve discovered recently. All the information on mixolydian, hybrid scales, dorian, and many, many other things.
I like the lessons on « rhythmic phrasing » and « chromatic passing notes» very much.
There is a lot to discover. Will take me months or years!

Birgit: Robert was on fire on this course and thus the reason why I nominated him to TrueFire which he naturally won...... but his finest moment in my humble opinion is "Texas Twist" and not because I reside in Texas (although New Hampshire Twist just wouldn't quite hack it, right Chris....no offense) but because this adds such a super cool dimension and technique (Hybrid picking) to your solos that truly can make your playing stand out at a completely nice new level!! Jim C.
Those were great courses [still are!]
Robert keeps churning out new ones. He's like the Eveready rabbit... or maybe the Eveready Guitar Slinger!!! I like that Eveready Guitar Slinger or EGS for short! 😉
It's live now.
Ready for Blues Booster II, buddy!! Jim C.
