Good Lesson, theres hours of ponder and practice in those 2 minutes.  

Once I realized the altered A was going to a D9, I changed the fingering of the A to the D9 shape in Eb and just added the pinky like I was playing a Eb13 and both the fingering and the move to D9 was sooo much easier.  Funky.

So then I started playing around with the shapes turning some of the later D9 and A9's into sus4s, and voila, more funky.

Definitely got me thinking outside of The Box on rhythm comping with triads and dominants.

This two minute lesson kept my fingers busy all week. 👍
