Dear friends,
Starting up....
First attempts to address this lesson. Hope you like it.
Esteban
Just checked out the rhythm part, which is my weak point in playing the guitar.
You explained and showed it very well. I think I can play it, so I'll post soon of my playing, sorry no video though.
Yeah mastering (not that I am) rhythm is essential.
Update!
I have added more backing tracks for you! Go to the backing tracks folder on Box, and you will see 3 more variations:
- B Minor 105 BPM
- D minor 90 BPM
- Gm 90 BPM
So, I have an assignment for you. Take the original version, and move all the chords accordingly to a new key. This is a process called transposing. I can do it on the fly, because of all the years I’ve been playing. Sometimes I do it for the first time on stage… not the best idea, because there is still a risk of messing up, especially if the song has many chords.
Anyway, to get you started with this tune in B minor, the first 6 bars are now B minor instead of D minor - the “i" chord. Then, you finish the other chords, the “iv” chord and the “V” chord. Write each bar down on a piece of paper:Bm | Bm | Bm | BmBm | Bm | ? | ?…..Do the same for G minor! If you can’t do it or need a hint, let me know and I’ll help you out.Hope you enjoy this course!
What a great idea. It's amazing how different keys have different moods.
Yeah Guitar Pro 6 can't read Guitar Pro 7 files. But I have added GP6 versions now to the Box folders.
This course is on the course list too now.
Sorry Robert, but on my computer Low Income Blues is not on the course list yet.

Hi Craig,
It sounds really nice. I do not remember to have the chance to listen it. But it sounds really nice. Are you also preparing a personal project?.

Esteban
I'm always working on a personal project ... Ha! 😆
Esteban
Nice job with this.
I see you Doc and Friends project will be finishing up soon. No doubt there was a lot of work, energy and time involved in that project. I look forward to hearing that as well.

I too am looking forward to hearing the much anticipated work!
Joe, it should be there now. You can also click on the courses button, to see all courses.
Great job, Esteban! Sounds great.
It's a pretty easy solo, but it's fun to play and it sounds great, me thinks.
PS.
I have added an E Minor version of this tune now as well.... cheers!
I have found a mistake in Solo 2, lick 4. The finger was wrong. It has now been corrected.
I have also added an mp3 of the full solo (all 4 combined) in the backing tracks folder!
