I started the fretboard finding fun for 'A' and will do the 7 week route. I putzed with that for an hour and a half today. I also went through the 5 positions and started working on the the beginner blues solo today.  

I've always had problems with the different positions on the fretboard. Maybe because I'm a keyboard player first, and I try translate them in my head as I would on a keyboard. It doesn't work, they're NOT the same dammit ! I seem to have issues understanding the CAGED system as well. One day maybe I'll see the light, just like it took me a while to figure out how to play the drums.
