I am excited to hear how you like this one! I figured it's time I provide a simple blues lesson to the general public, to draw some interest. As always, you guys have Soundslice available for this.

IMHO That's a great beginner's lesson.
In addition, it is a nice lesson that can be expanded on, where you can keep the theme going and work on adding your own licks... and play it in different positions... while keeping the rhythm and motif going. Looks like it could be a very useful and fun lesson...
Who knows maybe this lesson will be expanded to an intermediate and advanced version of this theme! 😉
Thats the whole backbone right there. Hidden in plain sight. 😀
I got to clamp down on this one. Really a very nice one to learn.
Yeah this is good. I want to hear you work on it, adding your own licks! Do it and I’ll be happy as a kid eating ice cream on a sunny summer day!

I'm working on it. I'll have something coming up on it. I probably won't have a backing track on it though. As a matter of fact I'm working on it now.
One thing I did notice on this one, it was important for me to count the beats. Going very slowly at first. Got it up to where I'm fine until the B7 fill/lick. Still need to work on it more, but I'll get it.
Went to a big fish market in Shimonseki yesterday, holy smackers, you would have thought I was in Hong Kong. Chinese tourist out-numbered the Japanese at the market. They were scooping up the 5 buck sushi of expensive tuna. One piece, 5 bucks. I can only dream, right.
Great, Joe. Remember to use a metronome on your recording - very important to play it with good timing.
Fish market - sounds a good place to tuna guitar. 😀 HEHE
Wow! I think I'm finally nailing it. I'll have something to post very soon. Yikes! 😀
Funny thing about this fish market is: it doesn't look to sanitary. People from all over the world come here and the food products are not covered up. Air pollution from all the coughs. Not really sure if I actually want to eat the sushi, but the tiger shrimp (tempura) sure looks good at 2 bucks a piece. Get a few of them and some white rice, hmm. I'm getting hungry.
