Great course. It may be time to revisit it...
24 cool interchangeable licks over a 12 bar format... mix and match
Anyone working on this one?
Here is my latest. All 24 licks in the same order as Robert's sample performance. Recorded using my PRS 245 Single Cut and Fender Mustang IV V2. I used the"Chimey Deluxe" model #37 with a few tweaks. Just recorded straight off of the USB into my windows PC - into FL studio.
Plenty of mistakes still, but there are only so many hours in the day. Hey - its progress. Practicing a LOT lately.

Eric
Sounds great. You did a great job. Your practice is paying off! and now you have 24 licks added to your inventory. Well done.
Great job Eric.
I had a lot of fun with this one. Sounds like you are too. Great playing. Try mixing it up a bit next time around. Before you start changing licks around try re-arranging the 12 bar order. I tried that first and it was fun.
Looking forward to more!
Good work Eric. It's not a super easy solo, but you did well.
I think you can improve your phrasing a bit, by listening and humming along with the licks. Some of them you play with the wrong phrasing, and sometimes that can actually work in a cool way, but sometimes it lands flat.
I would like to hear someone make up their own solo from these licks. Remember the idea with these licks is to pick and choose any lick that fits where you are in the progression.
If you create your own sequence with these licks, just for 12 or 24 bars, that would make my day! You know the licks, so create your own solo now, and feel free to reuse a lick or two as well. It's perfectly okay.
Nice Recording, Eric! You definitely hit a stride getting into the 1 minute mark, sounds like you shed the red light syndrome once the tape rolled a little.
That exercise is a lot of licks and it sounds like you worked hard on getting them all under your belt.
I think I share Robert's sentiment that you master the licks then move on to making them yours to draw from and modify as you want to express your own solo. Keep this in your practice repertoire until you can play it in your sleep and then it will fly from your fingers with your own special vibe when summoned to play in a jam.
Eric, very nice....It is not easy, I perfectly know and all your efforts. Congratulations.
I purchased this download back in 2013 during the latter part of my first year of guitar. It was much too advanced for me at the time, but I now am ready to tackle it. Time to get to work.
I think you are really going to enjoy it. That was/is a great course... have fun. Come up for air now and then!
