My acoustic has been in a deep slumber, but the siren call of Robert Johnson's devilish blues style has been sounding my name. SO, how about a survey:. Anyone else here have a hankering for some olde school early acoustic blues playing or lesson?

WHoa yes siree Bob!
I smell sulpher and brimstone! Perhaps a make yer own acoustic blues dues submission to the MGA!
I was just looking at my poor, lonely acoustic sitting in the corner of my bedroom the other day. Which is appropriate because, as you said Clayton, it's been in a deep slumber. All my electrics are in my music room/office. But I have my acoustic next to the bed in case I need/want to pick up a guitar. It's been months.
I know that it's lonely.
Months ago I was in my favorite local guitar store and there was a used Martin 000-28 EC (Clapton signature). I played it and it played so sweet. And gorgeous. I went home to think and two days later went back. As I walked into the store the FEDEX guy was leaving with a box. The owner said to me, "If you're back to look at the Clapton it's leaving with the FedEx guy. I sold it on Reverb".
I rationalized it's just as well. I never play acoustic. But maybe something like this would get me motivated. I need to play acoustic more.
And my little Seagull in the corner would appreciate it.
Acoustic blues - yeah I will see what I can do. Any specific suggestions? I'm all ears.
Any of these would be great.

Ron, you had me near tears with that account. Robert, perhaps a general vibe lesson in the style of Robert Johnson, and you could call it Slumberin' Blues. For those not up to splitting the Rhythm and Licks nature of RJ's style, it would be great to hear folks tackle the steady boogie drone with focus on really getting the feel, tempo consistency, and endurance of 2-3 minutes holding it down.
