Mr. Sinister!  That was a sweet treat for the summer acoustic time, and I do love getting 6ths in as often as possible.  I've been drawing a lot of 6th doubles in my Robin Trower studies.

Ivan- you are so right about the application of this in acoustic and electric.  Right off the top of my head this hit me as an open arrangement on the main riffs for Sweet Melissa, a real favorite.  

Nice lesson. I'm an acoustic finger-style player so this came pretty easily to me. I love the licks and the 6ths. Cool stuff.
