In this course, we are going to practice playing the A Aeolian mode to a backing track. In order to be comfortable with using a scale, you need to be able to play the scale (or parts of it) in different ways, and with different note values. The Aeolian mode is the same scale as the Natural Minor scale (the 6th mode of the major scale).

The approach here is that we will be playing ascending/descending – 1/4 notes, 1/8 notes, 1/4 note triplets, 1/8 note triplets.
